School Counselor Email Phone: 628-1032 x1102 I began working as the school counselor in the district in 2013 and have enjoyed watching students and families evolve and grow. I have a Bachelors degree in Education from UW-Madison and a Masters degree in School Counseling from Lakeland University in Madison, WI. I have taught middle school Science and ELA. I also taught third grade for a number of years prior to pursing my career as a school counselor. Currently, I am in the process of obtaining National Board certification as a means to further evolve in my career as a school counselor. The certification process is rigorous, but the gains will surly prove worthy. I have worked diligently to update the Academic and Career Planning (ACP) curriculum for Richfield Middle School as a way to ensure each student graduates with employability and life skills necessary for success. My mission is to show every student they have a purpose and to help them uncover their strengths and motions, so they can truly achieve their greatness. I am here for all students and families/guardians and look forward to watching each student grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
I love teaching and having fun with students. It is so wonderful to hear students laughing and enjoying their days at school. We love to learn new and exciting things together on this journey of lifelong learning.
I also love working for the Holy Hill Area School District because my family and I live in Richfield. My children attend Friess Lake School and Richfield Middle School. The staff members are truly like family members, and I always know my children are safe and happy while they are at school, learning and growing.
I love helping others, and I make it my goal each day to help people smile. I enjoy dancing, singing (not too well), running, hiking, biking, walking our boxer dog (Roxy), skiing, rollerblading, playing sports, going up north, and traveling as often as possible. Our family is always busy at the lake in the summer; swimming, kayaking, boating, paddle boarding, and just taking in the wonders of nature. We also enjoy cooking, baking, cleaning, having family parties, and doing basically anything outdoors! My family and I love Richfield and look forward to making more memories in this area with all of our amazing family members and friends.
Thank you for being part of the Holy Hill Area School District family!
Be the reason someone smiles today!
