About the District
The Holy Hill Area School District (HHASD) is a public school district located in Washington County, Wisconsin, serving just over 500 students in grades 4K through 8 across two schools: Friess Lake Elementary School, serving students in 4K through grade 4, and Richfield Middle School, serving grades 5 through 8.
The district was established on July 1, 2018, through the consolidation of the Friess Lake School District and the Richfield Joint 1 School District. Both predecessor districts shared a long-standing commitment to educational excellence, a tradition that continues to guide HHASD today.
While HHASD does not operate a high school, graduates transition to Hartford Union High School, an independently governed district serving grades 9-12, supporting a seamless continuation of students’ academic journeys.
