4K Dolphin Kids After-School Program
Dolphin Kids 4K after-school program offers an opportunity for 4K students to extend their day in a caring, nurturing environment. Our program starts when morning 4K ends and continues until the end of the school day. We will engage your child’s learning through fun, imagination, play, crafts, and educational activities. Our afternoon program follows the same weekly themes, letters, numbers, and concepts children are learning in their morning 4K classes. Your child will build friendships and have many memories to share with you.

Registration Fee of $25 per child enrollment form is due before the start date.
Bring your own snack and water bottle labeled for Dolphin Kids.
Lunch is available for purchase or bring your own.
Small child-size sleeping bag or blanket for rest-time is needed. -
How are we billed?
Billing is monthly and the bills will go out during the first week of the following month. You are billed only for the days your child attends. At this time, we can only take checks for payment. Please make your checks out to HHASD and label all checks with Dolphin Kids in the memo. All payments are due by the 15th of each month. For example, September’s bill would be due on October 15. Payments must be made on time to avoid disruption in your child’s schedule.Can my child have a flexible schedule?
Yes. We do ask that you supply a calendar at least 1 week before the start of the month with the days your child would need. Availability of days may be limited due to enrollment.Can I add extra days or change my days? Do you offer drop in?
We would like for you to be consistent with your weekly days. If you need to make changes, we require 1 week advance notice. We do not offer same day drop in. All schedule changes must have 1 week notice if space is available.If I no longer need Dolphin Kids and remove my child from the program, can I add them to the schedule later in the year?
You can re-enroll your child only if there is available space. Once your child is removed, their space may go to another child waiting to enroll.What type of sleeping bag does my child need?
A small, child size sleeping bag that your child can roll up on their own. For example: the bags with the pillow attached that roll up work well. Please do not send an adult sleeping bag or large pillows as we do not have the storage space. You can also send a blanket instead of a small sleeping bag.Do I need to send a snack?
Yes. Please label the snack for dolphin kids so it is not eaten earlier in the day.What else does my child need?
In addition to a snack and sleeping bag, your child should also have a water bottle, lunch if not getting hot lunch, and a change of clothes labeled for Dolphin Kids. Your child can also bring a small sleep friend (stuffed animal) for rest time.Can my child take the bus home?
