Annual Meeting
The Holy Hill Area School District holds its Annual Meeting each October. The Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for district residents to receive information about the school district, review and discuss matters related to the district’s operations and finances, and conduct business as required by Wisconsin law.
The meeting is open to eligible district electors and is conducted in accordance with Wisconsin Statutes §§ 120.08 and 120.09.
Additional information, including the meeting date, time, agenda, and related materials, will be shared with the community prior to the meeting.

Budget Hearing
Each year, the Holy Hill Area School District Board of Education adopts an annual budget that outlines how district resources will be allocated to support students, staff, and school operations.
A public budget hearing is held each October as part of the District’s Annual Meeting. This provides an opportunity for community members to learn about the District’s financial position and ask questions about the proposed budget.
The Annual Meeting budget presentation includes information such as:
- District revenues and expenditures since the previous Annual Meeting
- Current cash balance
- Outstanding obligations and bills payable
- The annual budget summary required by Wisconsin law
- Significant changes in revenues and expenditures from the previous budget
The District Administrator and Board of Education are available to answer questions about the budget and the District’s financial operations.
The final budget approved by the Board of Education is available to the public in accordance with Wisconsin law.

Budget Amendments
Changes to the District’s adopted budget may be necessary during the school year as circumstances change. When a change involves the amount of an appropriation or the purpose for which funds are used, it must be approved by a two-thirds vote of the Board of Education.
Budget changes and amendments are made in accordance with Wisconsin law. Within 15 days of a budget change, the District will provide public notice of the change through the required legal notice process or by posting the notice on the District’s website.
For more information, please refer to Wisconsin Statutes § 65.90(5)(a) and § 985.02.
